Localization Project Manager (Remote)
We are looking for an experienced Localization Project Manager to support one of our top clients in the digital space. In a fully remote, 6-month engagement starting in July. The role requires at least 20 hours per week, with the possibility of extending to 40 hours depending on project scope. The working schedule must include overlap with US Eastern Time.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on content localization pipeline management, CMS handling, and coordination of translation workflows across multiple tools and platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate localization content workflows across multiple systems and sources
- Load and maintain content in Crowdin from platforms such as GitHub, Iterable, Google Slides, and Webflow
- Ensure proper structuring, consistency, and readiness of content for localization
- Route and send content from Crowdin to translation vendors
- Monitor project status, timelines, and delivery quality across localization pipelines
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and localization teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery
- Troubleshoot content or integration issues between CMS platforms and localization tools
- Support continuous improvement of localization processes and automation workflows
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Localization Project Management or Localization Operations
- Hands-on experience with localization workflows and CMS tools (Crowdin experience is a strong plus; any CMS experience is acceptable)
- Proven ability to manage structured content workflows and multi-source content ingestion
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent content streams
- Experience working with distributed teams and remote collaboration tools
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment with overlapping time zones (US Eastern Time required overlap)
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Nice to have
- Experience integrating or working with tools like GitHub, Iterable, Webflow, or similar content systems
- Familiarity with localization automation and connector-based workflows
- Experience working with translation vendors or TMS platforms (e.g., Translated, Smartling, Phrase)
